I don't know if it was the fab PP that the guys at Scrap Pile sent in the Feb DT kit or what, but I have my mojo back!! I've done 2 pages in 2 days and I think that's a record for me! Well, since Erin was born anyway! I've even got a few ideas to use the rest of the DT kits. I just loved that BoBunny PP Heart Attack and those gorgeous Creative Imaginations rubons!

Will post a pic shortly. Blogger seems to be playing up ATM!

OTP Challenge

Just sharing my latest project for Scrap Pile. My challenge from Friday night was to scrap a "Highlight of 2007" on an off the page item using something from your stash that you bought in 2007 and haven't used before.

Here's the front cover of my sample project...

I used an old washer I had lying around that I'd bought from Bunnings as the name plate on the top right and some Doodlebug paper frills inside that I'd never used, but had sitting on my desk.

You can view the entire book in the CyberCrop Gallery at Scrap-Pile.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the lovely entries - due Friday midnight.

Scrap Pile Cyber Crop

Tonight I'm hosting my first CyberCrop at Scrap Pile (6pm Qld time), so wish me luck! Four DT challenges will be posted throughout the night, so get your gear ready to scrap the night away! There will be the usual BINGO and another quiz as well as many prizes to snap up! Come along early and if you're one of the first 3 people to sign in, you get to post a challenge for our Guest Designers, Renee & Gilly to be completed before midnight. So, no excuses, get down to Scrap Pile tonight and join in the fun!

I'm a bit happy

I did some work today for my favourite client, Biome, and I'm really happy with how it turned out! Just thought I'd share...

Officially addicted to rub-ons...

... and not just ordinary cheapish ones... the WRMK Foil, Glitter, Flock rub-ons. They are brilliant! I have never seen anything like them (apart from the other brands of course).

I did some mucking around on a journalling card for Scrap-Pile the other day and I am sooo loving the flocking effect and the intricate detail you can get with these rub-ons.

Here's a squiz at some flocking from the Promenade kit...

and I used the foil from the family kit on this LO... {mom, sister, brother, dad} and I am just in loooove with it! I can't believe how pretty it is IRL. Can't quite get the effect from a photo, but you get the idea.

Thanks for all your lovely comments too! Here's hoping I can keep up my side of the deal and keep it updated :)

I will try and put some of my LOs on a gallery. hmmmm not quite sure how, but that's why I love my job! There's always a challenge :)

Wahoo!! Here I am!

Okay, so it's taken me a little while to get my act together and get a scrapping blog organised. So, here it is. Starting afresh in the new year seemed appropriate. Now, here's hoping I can find the time to update it regularly!

Firstly, I'd like to thank Justine & Mel at Scrap-Pile for giving me the opportunity to work on their design team with some great gals!

I got a lovely surprise last week to find a great big package of DT goodies and couldn't wait to get started... here's my first LO for January. I'm loving the LoveElsie range! Couldn't resist the pressie pile.
