Testing out my new babies... COPICS that is

I've been pretty flat out with work lately, so haven't had much time to create (on paper anyway), and so I've been playing with my new COPICS during my lunch break... and I just love how quick and easy they are to apply and get great results. My shadows need some work (okay, a lot of work!), and when searching for some help I found this really cool COPIC MARKER DEMO on utube by Amy Reeder Hadley and I am in awe yet again! I just wish I could draw like she can! Check it out if you get a minute. It's awesome!

PS Will hopefully get some time to create over the weekend, so my coloured images can find a home on a card somewhere, and might even find their way on here :) Maybe!!

Hey Leah - here's a couple of sites for copics - RMIT is the cheapest at $6.95 - the refills are brilliant too - I used them and they are well worth it

Unfortunately these two stores had a price increase when the aussie dollar slumped - they're around $8.50

I was so excited when my local store paper 2 (the largest scrapbooking store in victoria) began to stock copics, but my excitement soon disappeared when I saw she was charging a huge $10.95 each!!!!

One of my fellow Roses on Paper Design Team members, Jodi, is on the Copic Creations Design Team: http://copiccreations.wordpress.com/ They have some great copic challenges and tutorials

Have fun colouring and keep and eye out for our new Elisabeth Bell stamps, Peta
